3-tier printerserver

I want to create a case study for your site so other people can benefit from your components (again : they are REALLY GREAT !!).

In short : this is what I've done.. I 've created an Appserver with (first) two services. One to retrieve data from a MySQL server with the names, locations and other properies of printerservers on the network, and a second service which retrieves the data to be printed and sends it to the given printerserver.

The printer client (or other software that uses this appserver) just calls the appserver to see which printers are available and where they are. After selecting the printer a 'data record' is created and send to the appserver. The appserver determines where to send the printerdata to and routes it to the printerserver. The printerserver retreives the data and puts it in a threadsafe printqueue. This printqueue is read by a different thread which in turn sends the data actually to the printer.
